Roughly 2-3% of this coffee crop rebelled against their genetic code and fused two beans in the cherry producing peaberries. These adorable little beans pack a punch but make a cup that's as smooth as a Brazilian wax. Peaberries often highlight the more intense flavors of their crop and can taste drastically different than their double beaned brothers even though they grew on the same branch.Minas is in the southeast of the country and grows coffee on some of the highest mountains Brazil has to offer. Most farms have been cultivating for hundreds of years.
